Cloud in a Jar

Raincloud in a Jar

Today K7 had the chance to become scientists in the classroom.

We had to use specific equipment and follow a method in order for this experiment to be completed.

 ________________________________________________________________________________________

Equipment:

1 Plastic cup (clear), water, shaving cream, blue food colouring in another cup, pipette

Method:

Fill your cup ( ¾) with water

Use the shaving cream to create a shaving cream cloud on the surface of the water

Now use the pipette to drop the blue food colouring ( one drop at a time) onto the shaving cream

Count the number of drops you add

Stop when you see a colour change in the water

Do you think you could write a Hypothesis  about what you may happen during this experiment?

Teu Le Va – Lalaga

Lalaga

Lalaga is a Gagana Sāmoa term that means to
weave or the act of weaving.

It illustrates the connections staff and
students endeavour to forge and
strengthen throughout their time at
Kedgley

Teu Le Va

WALT: Write an acrostic poem about what Lalaga means to us as a student, what it looks like and why it is important to us

Have you ever heard of Lalaga before?
